VP Social- Natasha Szulist
Run, drink, yap, repeat! My socials team and I are all about setting the vibes :) When I’m not tending to my mice, you can catch me at run club, on the volleyball court, or checking out a new restaurant around the city!
Q&A with the Execs!
Biggest thing happened this year?
I went on a trip to Poland and Czechia last month, it was a great trip, 10/10 would recommend!
What you’re most excited about this upcoming year
I’m excited to start planning trips to explore Quebec. I really want to go do hikes, explore smaller cities, etc. I’m also really excited to start learning some new techniques in the lab, call me a nerd I dare you >:(
What’s most important to you right now
Being organized and well-informed, in the lab and in life.
Advice you’d give to yourself when you started
You’re only competing against yourself in grad school, comparison really is the thief of joy.
What’s your favourite breakfast
My go-to is scrambled eggs with some cheddar and toast. I do love a good classic eggs benny when I go for brunch though.
If you were a caffeinated drink, what would you be and why
The first thing that came to my mind was an iced black coffee. I then took a buzzfeed quiz and they also gave me a black coffee, so it must be true.
What’s your spirit animal
A wolf, ifykyk
What do you think is the most important value in someone
I think having humility is an important value that’s underrated and that I tend to admire most in others.
What’s your favourite early 2000s chick flick
Maybe this is a bit unconventional, but if we’re defining this as “movies geared towards women’s interests created in the early 2000s”, my pick hands-down is Phantom of the Opera.
